The Philippine representatives to a recent taekwondo tilt in Malaysia brought home 16 medals, including 4 golds.
During the 13th ASEAN Taekwondo Championship, where their skills for Korean martial arts were tested, Pinoys finished second overall over five other competing nations.
In the Senior division, Jenar Torillos, Christian Al dela Cruz, Kristopher Robert Uy and Leila Delo won gold. In the Junior division, Romelle Pablo Jr. took the gold.
There were seven silver medalists in the senior division, and one in Junior.
There were two bronze medalists each for the Seniors and the Juniors.
